I don't know my username.
If you're an HHS Employee, your username is your Employee ID. If you're an HHS contractor, External partner, or non-HHS Government worker, select the "Forgot Username?" link on the Welcome page and follow the steps to retrieve your username.

How do I self-register?
Select "Register" on the Welcome page. Agree to the System Use Notification. On the next screen, select your user type and follow instructions. HHS employee registration is complete after entering their employee ID. Check your inbox for your username and temporary password. If you're an External Partner or non-HHS Government Agency worker, enter your organization's EIN number. External Partners and non-HHS Government Agency workers, along with HHS contractors, must then fill out an access request form and submit it. You will receive request updates via email as they occur. After your request is approved, you will receive an email with your username and temporary password.

Why is my account locked?
Accounts are locked when there are three failed sign-in attempts or if you have not signed into the system within 90 days. To unlock your account, contact the Help Desk at 512-438-4720.

I don't know my password.
Have you accessed the portal before? If so, simply click on the "Forgot Password" link on the Welcome page and follow the directions. If you are a first time user, you must select "Register" on the Welcome page and have your access approved before you will be given a password.

I received the message, "The Employee ID is already assigned to an account."
Confirm you have added the correct Employee ID. It's also possible your Supervisor has registered for you. Check with him/her to confirm. If the problem persists, contact the Help Desk at 512-438-4720.

I received the message, "Your request could not be processed. Please verify your Employee ID and try again."
Your Employee ID is not matching our records. If you've tried more than once to submit your information and this error continues to appear, contact your Supervisor to confirm that he/she has provided you with the correct Employee ID. If the problem persists, contact the Help Desk at 512-438-4720.
