Reporter Information

Under Texas law, your identity as a reporter of suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation is confidential and can only be revealed in limited circumstances pursuant to Texas Family Code 261.201(d). Even if your suspicions end up being wrong, you cannot be charged with a crime or taken to court for making a false report, as long you made the report honestly and sincerely.

As a   you will be asked to identify yourself and give us contact information such as a phone number and email address. This will allow us to confirm your report by email and allow an investigator to follow up for more information, if needed.

As an   you will not be asked to identify yourself or give contact information. Since we won't know who you are or how to contact you, you will not receive any confirmation of your report, and you won't be able to give us any more information on your report later.
